Welcome

I would like to first acknowledge the traditional lands of the Lekwungen and Xwsepsum peoples, which I am grateful to live and create on.

Iā€™m Jenn, thank you for stopping by and joining me in my little woolly space, you are most welcome here!

About Me

After graduating from university, I started knitting as a form of combatting depression and stress from a desk job that I really did not enjoy. My passion for the craft began to grow with increasing support from the knitting community and thus began my new journey into knitwear design!

Knitwear lovingly hand crafted on Vancouver Island, BC.

I created Oceanfolk Fibre Co. as a small space in which knitwear is created intentionally and sustainably. All of my products are made with the utmost respect to the natural environment, all wool is sourced as locally and ethically as possible.

Materials

I strive to use environmentally conscious materials consisting of 100% natural fibres. I focus on sourcing wool from the local fibre shed on Vancouver Island, and from the rest of Canada.

Inspiration

The inspiration for my designs comes from the natural beauty on Vancouver Island. I strive to create timeless pieces that will be loved and worn for years to come.
